Location: Dorset (Hybrid, ideally 3 days in the office)
Contract: Initial 3-4 months
Rate: Up to 500 per day (Inside IR35)
We are seeking a dynamic Group Tax Manager to join our clients team on an interim basis. With a focus on corporation tax compliance and reporting, you will work collaboratively with finance teams across the globe to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing and submitting UK corporate tax computations alongside external advisors and finance staff. Oversee the SAO compliance process and manage tax risk effectively.
* Lead the year-end tax reporting process under IFRS. Collaborate with global finance teams and external auditors, preparing disclosures for group accounts, and forecasting effective tax rates and cash taxes throughout the year.
* Manage statutory tax disclosures under UK GAAP, coordinating with external auditors.
* Prepare and maintain Transfer Pricing documentation, ensuring compliance across the group.
Support the Group's BEPS 2.0 reporting and compliance obligations.
* Provide ad-hoc guidance to worldwide sites, address HMRC queries, identify process improvements, and evaluate opportunities for maximizing tax reliefs. Contribute to scenario analysis for business decisions and assist with various projects as required.
Qualifications:
* ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), with a specialisation in corporate tax preferred.
* Previous experience in a finance department within a multinational company is advantageous but not essential.
* Proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively.
* Excellent communication skills to engage with various stakeholders, including external advisors.
