Quality Assistant - QA 

Dorchester Area

£up to 29,000 DOE

Mon – Friday Days

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company in a Monday to Friday,  day based role. The role is fast paced, demanding and diverse, and will hold a real breadth for exposure to all aspects of technical and quality within the food industry. You will need to be an excellent communicator, with attention to detail and have a passion for technical and quality to be successful in this role.  You will ideally have experience working as a QA / QC in a food manufacturing environment

 
Essential Skills/ Experience for the Quality Assistant:
·Competent with computer systems and software
·Experience working within a Quality or Technical role within Food Manufacturing OR a Food Science Degree
·Methodical and logical with attention to detail
·Ability to work independently as well as being part of the technical team
·Ability to handle and keep information relating to the business confidently
·Ability to plan time effectively
·Good interpersonal and communication skills
 
The role will require some flexibility on hours as the team generally covers shifts between 6am – 6pm  ie  6am - 3pm / 9am - 6pm  /  8am – 5pm Mon – Friday.  Flexibility will be required during busy periods when shifts may be extended
 
Salary - £up to 29,000 DOE
