We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Lead to oversee and enhance the quality control processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role involves leading a dedicated team to ensure all products meet industry standards, customer expectations, and legal requirements. You’ll be at the forefront of maintaining compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of quality.

Full Time, Permanent role, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including customer requirements, regulatory guidelines, and relevant certification.
  • Oversee and maintain HACCP protocols, assessing risks and implementing controls for new processes, products, or materials.
  • Work closely with production teams to maintain high-quality standards and traceability in all aspects of manufacturing.
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external quality concerns, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support audit preparations and host external audits, ensuring non-conformance issues are addressed and resolved efficiently.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to uphold quality expectations and improve processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the QA team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to excel in their roles.
  • Manage laboratory testing processes, analyze results, and oversee corrective actions in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Monitor key quality metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications, packaging standards, and labeling requirements.
  • Organize and lead product quality assessments, including benchmarking and panel evaluations.

What We're Looking For:

Essential requirements:

? Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification.? Level 2 HACCP certification.? Previous experience in food manufacturing and working with major retailers.? Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and communicate across teams.

Desirable requirements:? Level 3 HACCP qualification.
