Science Solutions are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer for one of our clients based in the Dorset area.

To be considered for the position of Manufacturing Engineer you must have strong working knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD in addition to lean manufacturing techniques.

Role requirements

  • Previous experience and working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques is essential for the role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Degree or HNC/HND educated in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Mechanical Design is highly desirable.

Role responsibilities

  •  Actively manage configuration control on projects you’re working on.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques into current and new processes.
  • Analyse customer drawings to produce templates and kits.
