The company is looking for a Manufacturing / Production Engineer to join there new and expanding team.Ideally the Manufacturing / Production Engineer would have the following:
  • HNC Qualification or working towards something similar.
  • Manufacturing / Quality based experienced would be beneficial but not essential.
  • The ability to implement continuous improvement and evaluate processes effectively.
  • Experience using Continuous improvement tools and Lean Manufacturing techniques such as VSM, SMED, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, Error proofing.
  • The ability to design Jigs and fixtures using CAD (3D CAD experience would be beneficial but not essential)
What the role will involve:
  • Designing Jigs and fixtures using CAD software.
  • Producing time estimates, detailed production routes, and specify operation details accurately.
  • Provide technical solutions, problem-solving solutions and assist the production personnel with their day-to-day activities.
  • Use continuous improvement methods to review and improve the production process.
  • Liaise with suppliers and provide test equipment capable of testing product to customer requirements whilst ensuring the safety of personnel is not compromised.
