Science Solutions are looking to recruit a Senior Engineer for one of our clients based in the Dorset area.

To be considered for the position of Senior Engineer you must be degree educated in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related subject. You must also have previous experience in a customer facing role.

As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for liaising with customers, managing their projects and expectations in addition to training up the more junior engineers.

Role requirements

  • Degree educated in Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related subject.
  • Previous experience in a technical support or customer facing role is essential, ideally 5+ years.
  • Previous experience in working with composite materials.

Role responsibilities

  • Actively support NPI and existing production programs whilst liaising with customers to fully understand their needs for these products.
  • Develop manufacturing process methods and strategies within the business.
  • Manage various projects covering component manufacture throughout the factory.
  • Competent in the use of Siemans NX or Solidworks is highly advantageous for the role.
