Our client has just opened a new opportunity, they are seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join their expanding peripatetic team. Within this role you will be based in the Poole, Bournemouth, Dorchester area. 

As part of this role, you will receive a comprehensive 4-week Training and Induction Programme with ongoing mentoring and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health surveillance screening, including audiometry, lung function testing, height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis

  • Accurately record medical information and ensure data is passed to the appropriate clinical staff

  • Maintain and ensure all medical equipment is serviceable, clean, and fit for purpose

  • Support additional tasks such as health promotion activities

  • Work collaboratively with the wider occupational health team to deliver high-quality service

Travel & Overnight Stays:This role requires regular UK travel and overnight stays. You will need to have the ability to park a mobile medical unit/van at or near your home address. Typically, you will be away from home 3 out of 4 weeks per month, returning home on Fridays for the weekend.

Skills & Experience:

  • Health surveillance experience (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Understanding of GDPR and data protection in healthcare

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team

  • Self-motivated and able to manage workload effectively

  • Full manual UK driving license required
