We are currently working alongside one of the most exciting and diverse Schools in the Dorchester. They are a small school who provide a broad and rich curriculum that actively looks to promote a broad range of opportunities. They are looking for a committed and inspiring teacher to join their team as a Supply Teacher and help cover their absences.
English Supply Teacher roles and responsibilities
> Preparing and teaching lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
> Marking students’ work and providing feedback, criticism, encouragement and support.
> Supervising students in and out of the classroom.
> Following the regular teacher’s plan and managing classrooms effectively.
> Providing classwork and homework assignments.
> Consulting with parents and maintaining records of student progress.
English Supply Teacher Requirements
> Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
> Up-to-date safeguarding and prevent training.
> Ability to teach creatively.
> A degree of flexibility and adaptability.
> Willingness to work irregular hours.
