Prospero Teaching are currently looking for talented and dedicated 1:1 Mentors to join our team and support children in across Dorset.

As a Mentor, you'll be responsible for offering a range of support to students, from a few hours to multiple sessions per week. You'll also be required to complete weekly feedback forms, tracking the student's progress, achievements, and overall development.

  • Full time/part-time - Part-time / Full-time (work with multiple young people to build hours)
  • The minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £20 per hour

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS (desirable however not essential)

  • Previous experience working in a UK school / as a mentor / with young people in a relevant role
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
  • Have a minimum of 1 years experience working in an educational setting
