- Complete EHCPs and manage SEND processes, ensuring the voice of the child and their family is heard.
- Provide expertise in SEND Tribunal processes and guide families on appeal mechanisms when necessary.
- Participate in multi-agency meetings, collaborating with colleagues to secure the best outcomes for children.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reviewing progress with families and children regularly.
- Organise and prioritise tasks effectively, working to deadlines and within budget constraints.
- Be part of a multi-agency team while also engaging with SEND professionals across the county for peer support and training.
- A relevant professional qualification, with GCSE English and Maths (grade C or above) and post-qualification experience.
- Experience working within the SEN field and an understanding of statutory SEND processes.
- Strong familiarity with Local Authority functions or experience in a complex organisational environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports on children’s progress and needs.
- Solid administrative skills, with proficiency in data management to inform service improvement.
