If you have worked within Quality Assurance and are looking for a new role, then we are seeking a Quality Assurance and Technical Assistant for a food manufacture based outside of Dorchester.This is a hands-on role, where you will be supporting the factory with performing the quality checks in a variety of different areas including the production lines, kitchen area (which will involve taste checks) and packing areas.Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who has ideally come from a food production background.Although we require someone to be hands on, this role does come with an element of working on the PC and therefore, you will need to be computer literate and comfortable in updating established systems and entering information onto software and excel. You will also need to complete paper forms.The role is 40 hours a week Monday – Friday working an 8 hour shift. The role will be on a rotating shift pattern and works to a live plan and forecast. Therefore, you must be willing to work anywhere from a 6.00am start and a late shift could work to 10.00pm should it be a peek period of orders.This is a permanent role and is paying £13.10 an hour.
