Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job in Dorchester, Dorset

Assistant Quantity Surveyor job available, joining a successful housing developer based in Dorchester. Offering up to 35,000 and further progression opportunities!

Role & Responsibilities

Creating budget estimates for construction costs on new sites and tracking actual expenditures against these budgets
Preparing pricing for bricklaying services
Conducting comparative analyses of sub-contractor tenders
Measuring quantities to verify sub-contractor prices against established rate schedules
Compiling material take-offs based on project plans
Supporting the preparation of tender submissions
Aiding in the development of monthly forecasts and cash flow projections
Maintaining records and documentation related to sub-contracts.

Required Skills & Experience

HNC or Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
Previous experience in a similar role or within the construction industry
Full UK driving license and car
Prior experience within housing development is desirable.

What you get back

Salary between 26,000 - 35,000 DOE
Discretionary bonus scheme
25 days holiday + Bank holiday
