Due to continued growth, a well-established engineering organisation are looking to hire a Controls Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The primary function of the role is to aid in the integration of devices and machinery to operate together and solve complex industrial automation challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of range of high-tech and exciting projects.
- Developing controls algorithms, integrating, and programming industrial robotic systems.
- Commissioning new equipment and debugging common electrical issues.
- Programming PLCs and implementing & testing new features.
To be considered for this position, candidates need to have proven experience in programming Fanuc robots at an advanced level. In addition, it would be advantageous to have experience in commissioning and programming Siemens S7 PLCs, motion control, and hold a degree in electrical or electronic engineering, or a similar field.
