Our client, a fast-growing retail organisation, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to join their team. As the Store Manager, you will take ownership of your store, leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and exceed sales targets. You will also be responsible for maintaining excellent store standards and managing costs in line with company objectives.

Basic hours are 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days Monday to Sunday, with 1 full weekend worked, 1 full weekend off, 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday worked / month (based on a rota).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in actively selling and delivering outstanding customer service to consistently exceed sales targets.
  • Foster a high customer service culture to exceed customer expectations.
  • Take overall responsibility for the efficient running of the store.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate team members.
  • Ensure the team has up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Control costs within company targets for staff, consumables, and stationery.
  • Maintain excellent store standards, including display, point of sale, and housekeeping.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Retail Ops team and head office personnel within specified timeframes.
  • Ensure the security of cash, stock, equipment, and premises.
  • Adhere to company policies on health and safety, ensuring a safe workplace.
  • Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate store stock records through good housekeeping.
