- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children through statutory services.
- Deliver assessments and create actionable plans in partnership with children, families, and professionals.
- Support and advise families, helping parents build self-reliance and resilience.Attend court proceedings as required, preparing essential reports and giving evidence.
- Maintain high-quality records and data integrity, using digital systems effectively.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver a seamless service.
- Qualifications: Social Work Degree (CQSW, DIPSW) or equivalent; Social Work England registration; DBS clearance.Experience: Familiarity with safeguarding tools, such as the Continuum of Need model, and experience in child protection, court proceedings, or complex assessments.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of statutory legislation, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to set targets and work flexibly.
