  • Assessing children’s needs and creating effective, timely plans.
  • Delivering interventions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
  • Preparing reports for court and various professional settings.

  • Maintaining accurate records and data in line with organisational standards.
  • Attending team meetings and multi-agency discussions as required.
  • Participating in supervision, training, and appraisal to continuously enhance your professional practice.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re recruiting for three levels:Level 1 (Grade 9 – Entry/ASYE):Registration with Social Work England.Recently qualified or completing your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).Level 2 (Grade 10 – Social Worker):End of ASYE or equivalent proven experience.A track record of delivering high-quality assessments and plans.Level 3 (Grade 11 – Experienced Social Worker):Substantial experience in social work, including mentoring or supervising less experienced staff. Progressing towards or holding a Practice Educator qualification.Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • A proactive approach to safeguarding and supporting children.
  • Knowledge of statutory responsibilities and frameworks.
Additional Requirements
  • Access to a car and the ability to travel across the county as needed.
