A minimum of experience in motion control, including drive tuning and VFD, is required, along with familiarity with Siemens S7 PLCs and TIA Portal.

Dorchester - Control Engineer - Robotics

Platform Recruitment have partnered with a leading robotics company specializing in advanced automation solutions. They provide cutting-edge robotic systems for industries to major global markets and are looking for a skilled Controls Engineer to join their innovative team!

Main Duties:

Use PLC’s and Fanuc and Kuka robots to develop Software for a range of machines
Commission brand new equipment
Debug electrical problems
Travel to client sites that range across different sectors

Skills and Experience Required:

The advanced programming of Fanuc robots
Roboguide experience
PLC Knowledge and Structured Text Programming Experience
Experience with motion control - including experience with Drive Tuning and VFD
Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs and TIA Portal

Salary/Location:

The salary is circa £35k-£48k depending on experience
This role is based in and around Dorchester
