Dorchester is seeking a Control Engineer specializing in Robotics with a salary range of £35K-£48K, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have advanced programming skills in Fanuc robots and experience with Roboguide, PLCs, and Structured Text programming.
Responsibilities include developing software for various machines, commissioning new equipment, and debugging electrical issues.
Candidates should also possess motion control experience, including Drive Tuning and VFD, and familiarity with Siemens S7 PLCs and TIA Portal.

Dorchester - Control Engineer - Robotics

Platform Recruitment have partnered with a leading robotics company specializing in advanced automation solutions. They provide cutting-edge robotic systems for industries to major global markets and are looking for a skilled Controls Engineer to join their innovative team!

Main Duties:

Use PLC’s and Fanuc and Kuka robots to develop Software for a range of machines
Commission brand new equipment
Debug electrical problems
Travel to client sites that range across different sectors

Skills and Experience Required:

The advanced programming of Fanuc robots
Roboguide experience
PLC Knowledge and Structured Text Programming Experience
Experience with motion control - including experience with Drive Tuning and VFD
Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs and TIA Portal

Salary/Location:

The salary is circa £35k-£48k depending on experience
This role is based in and around Dorchester
