Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (5 and a half days a week)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit a Tyre Fitter on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Dorchester location.

The successful candidates for the Tyre Fitter position will have previous experience in a similar role and strong teamwork skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform tyre changes, repairs, balancing, and alignment using mobile equipment. Handle tyres for various vehicle types, including cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles.
Provide a high level of customer service by engaging professionally with clients, answering queries, and offering expert advice on tyre care and maintenance.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations during tyre fitting procedures, ensuring both your safety and that of the customer.
Ensure that all mobile fitting equipment and tools are in good working order, clean, and properly stored in the mobile unit. Report any faults or issues promptly.
Manage stock levels of tyres and materials within the mobile unit, ensuring you have the necessary inventory to complete jobs efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of all jobs completed, including customer details, services provided, and any additional work recommended.

Skills and Qualifications:

Solid mechanical/vehicle knowledge
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
