Upholsterer

Frontline Recruitment are in a search for 2X Upholsterers for our client in Milbourne St Andrew who have preferably worked in the factory environment before and have potentially used hand tools like an air compressed staple gun.

Being punctual and have a can-do attitude is a must have requirement for this roles.

Responsibilities:

Using power and hand tools, filler and cut fabric to wooden framework in the assembly of hand-crafted furniture

Attach finishes, to complete orders according to specifications

Measure and cut fabric pieces with the aid of patterns or stencils and industrial cutting tools to precise sizes and dimensions

Read work orders and maintain database of production status

Inspect wooden framework for defects and make repairs as needed prior to upholstery application and other finish work

Operate portable hand-sewing equipment, nail guns, hobnail and tack hammers, and other industrial equipment

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Upholsterer.

Knowledge of modern upholstery techniques.

Strong attention to detail and precision.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday 08.00 - 16.45hrs and 08.00 - 12.00hrs Fridays.

Pay rate: From 11.98/hr
