Agriculture Business Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Agriculture Business Teacher to join our team at KMC. This role involves teaching and assessing across the Agriculture curriculum with a focus on land-based business skills. The position may also include responsibilities for Higher Education teaching and course tutoring, depending on the candidate’s experience.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach and assess students within the Agriculture curriculum, focusing on land-based business skills.
  • Provide support and guidance to students in both practical and theoretical aspects of Agriculture Business.
  • Take on course tutor responsibilities and possibly teach at the Higher Education level, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the planning and implementation of educational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their educational goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in Agriculture or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching and assessing in an educational setting, preferably in Agriculture or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of land-based business skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business.
  • Experience in Higher Education teaching and course tutoring is advantageous but not essential.
