Assistant Management Accountant (Part-Time)

Location: Dorking, Surrey

Hours: 3 days per week (24 hours), 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (flexible)

Salary: Equivalent to £40,000 full-time (pro-rata for part-time)

The Role:

As our Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial side of our business. This isn't just a transactional role we are looking for someone who will really get involved in the business, roll up their sleeves, and help drive our success.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Producing monthly management accounts.

Managing month-end processes, including payroll.

Investigating and analysing numbers to provide actionable insights.

Supporting the team with Profit & Loss (P&L) queries and account sheets.

Offering advice and guidance to enhance financial decision-making.

Building strong relationships across the business to become the go-to financial expert.

About You:

Experience: You will have experience in producing management accounts and handling month-end processes.

Qualifications: Ideally part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or AAT qualified. Confidence and capability are more important than specific qualifications.

Skills: Strong Excel skills are essential.

Personality: You are someone who loves getting stuck in, solving problems, and supporting others. You are approachable, analytical, and genuinely care about the success of the business.

Location: You should live within an hour's distance of Dorking, Surrey.
