Join our dynamic engineering and manufacturing organisation in Dorking, where youll play a vital role in maintaining our facilities, equipment, and plant operations to the highest standards.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will support the Maintenance Supervisor in planning and managing maintenance activities across our plant and facilities. You'll liaise with operations teams to understand maintenance needs, coordinate servicing and repairs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure plant, equipment, and facilities comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for servicing and repairs.
  • Maintain plant registers and key maintenance records, ensuring audit readiness.
  • Carry out contractor inductions and maintain associated records.
  • Conduct risk assessments and review contractor method statements.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance projects and capital expenditure planning.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and asset servicing records.
  • Ensure PUWER regulations are met for all machinery and equipment.
  • Support the maintenance of vibration tools and equipment.

What Were Looking For:

  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Hands-on maintenance experience (Mechanical/Electrical).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Awareness of Health & Safety regulations (HAVS, DSEAR, PUWER, Asbestos).
  • IOSH/NEBOSH certification (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
