I am searching for an experienced Project Architect to join a thriving architecture and surveying practice in Dorking. The team are renowned for their commitment to innovative designs and meticulous project execution across the residential, commercial and public sectors. The team pride themselves on delivering excellence through collaboration and creativity.

The successful Project Architect will have significant experience post qualification and will be confident managing projects from inception to completion. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, sustainable design solution that meet clients' needs and exceed their expectations

Responsibilities, Experience and Skills for the role of Project Architect:

  • ARB registered
  • Significant experience post Part 3 qualification
  • Lead and manage architectural projects, ensuring they align with design, budget, and schedule objectives.
  • Develop and refine project designs from initial concepts through to detailed construction documentation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members.
  • Oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and other project deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, planning permissions, and other statutory requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, promoting a culture of learning and professional development.
  • Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and site visits.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of project types and scales.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
