Auto Electrician
Hours: 39 hours/week - Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pm & Friday 7:30am - 3pm
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience.

Our client is looking for an experienced Auto Electrician with a mechanical interest. This is great opportunity to receive on the job training with excellent long term career opportunities.
As a successful Auto Electrician, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Touseelectronic diagnostic equipment todiagnose electrical issues within avehicle andmake /modify electrical harnesses.
- Theabilitytoconductautoelectricaltasksonmodernspecialistvehicles
- Wiringupofelectricalcomponentsandinstallationsofwiringlooms
- Toexaminevehiclesanddiagnosenon-routinedefects,oradditionalfaultseither inthe workshop or during road tests
- Abilitytouserelatedtoolstoagood standard
- Conductingfaultfindinganddiagnosticwork,whennecessary,onallvehicles.
- InstallnewinteriorelectricsthisincludesGPS,Camerasystemsetc
- InstallhighvoltagebatteriesintoourElectricSweepers
- Ensureallworkiscompletedsafelyandcomplieswithretailer,manufacturer,and industry guidelines
- ToutilizetheCompany'sfacilitiesandprocessestomaximizeyourproductivity on vehicles
- Ensureallcorrectpaperworkiscompletedandaccuraterecordsmaintained
- Ensurethatalltheequipment provided bytheCompany iskeptingoodcondition andin full working order.
- Workonflowlinewhen required.
- Contribute to maintaining a high level of housekeeping and attention to health and safetyissuestocreateahealthyandsafeworkingenvironment.Thisincludesensuring that personal belongings and work-related tools and materials are kept in the designated areas.

Person Specification
Essential
- Effective Communication
- Able to read and understand electrical circuit drawings
- Previous auto electrical experience on HGV
- Motivated/Driven
- Able to effectively absorb knowledge
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Can-Do attitude
Desirable
- Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical circuits
- Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or similar
- Clean driving licence/LGV
- Professional appearance and presentation
