Finance Administrator
Dorking
Part Time: 15 hours per week
Tuesday to Friday 10am to 1:45pm
Salary: £12,500 - £13,715 Pro Rated
Contract from: 1st April 2025 to 31st May 2026
Sales Ledger- Monthly reconciliation of the aged debtor report to the ledger.- Raise and post the SJP Receipts on a monthly basis
Purchase Ledger- To ensure all invoices are checked for accuracy appropriately authorised.- To check and authorise new suppliers.- Monthly reconciliation of the aged creditors report to the ledger.- To process the payment run on a weekly basis, once agreed with the Director of Finance & Operations.- Raise and post the SJP Costs on a monthly basis.
Bank & Petty Cash- Reconcile the bank and petty cash accounts monthly, investigating & resolving any discrepancies.- To process and submit all information requests and returns- Ad hoc payment requests to be authorised by the appropriate signatory.
Management Accounting- Product cost analysis, as required- Process efficiency monitoring- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset register on Sage, liasing with Finance & Operations Assistant.- Completion of third-party introducer agreements.- Liasing with department managers to promote best practice.
Payroll- Setting up starters as per the checklist ensuring all required information is provided.- Processing leavers as per the checklist, ensuring all required information is provided- Submitting the monthly payroll to the external payroll provider ensuring all adjustments are included and authorised.- Calculate and issue the monthly and quarterly adviser remuneration statements, investigating and resolving any queries.- Providing monthly payments schedules for HMRC, Royal London and any other payroll provider, ensuring payments are made within the required timescales.- Calculate and issue P11Ds to staff and HMRC.- Calculate the PSA return on an annual basis- Processing the company pension scheme payments, complying with auto-enrolment requirements.

Specification- Minimum level 3, ATT - 3 years’ experience in a similar role- Ideally proficient in the use of Sage 50 and Excel - Numerate with a good attention to detail- A team player with a flexible can do approach.
