They are consistently investing back into the company and expanding their offices across the UK, and as a result of recent success, they are now looking to expand their purchasing team to drive future growth.
In this role, you will manage the electrical component supply base for truck mounted sweepers, focusing on cost reduction and process improvement within an engineering environment. You will negotiate supply agreements, maintain market knowledge, and apply total cost principles to ensure efficient production and spare parts supply.
This role would suit an experienced purchasing professional with a strong background in engineering/manufacturing, proven negotiation skills, and project management experience.

The Role:
*Electrical buyer for specialist heavy vehicles
*Create and improve business processes
*Develop and negotiate supply agreements
*Understand supplier market
*Office based role
The Person:
*Experience in a buyer or purchasing position within production, engineering or manufacturing
*Ideally business bachelors / masters degree, or CIPS
*Excellent negotiation skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Office
*Full UK Driving License
