Credit Controller, Dorking – International Bicycle Manufacturer, £35,000 plus Top quality bicycle!!

Location: Dorking (walking distance from the station, excellent transport links, and ample parking available)
About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with a strong, positive culture. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts, chasing overdue debts, and supporting the smooth running of the Credit Control department. Reporting to the EMEA FP&A team, you’ll have the chance to work in a hybrid environment, with three days in the office and two days working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chase overdue retailer debts via phone, email, and letters
- Flag and resolve any outstanding queries
- Review aged debt daily and manage DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
- Build strong relationships with customers and manage your own set of accounts
- Open new accounts and perform full credit checks
- Post receipts to ledgers and ensure accurate customer records are maintained
- Contribute to the efficiency of the Credit Control function
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a Credit Control role
- Proven ability to build relationships and manage outstanding debt
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- A proactive and organized approach to managing your workload
