Credit Controller, Dorking – International Bicycle Manufacturer, £35,000 plus Top quality bicycle!! 

Are you a seasoned Credit Controller with a passion for cycling? Do you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments? Join a market-leading, vibrant international bicycle manufacturer based in Dorking and play a key role in managing the EMEA credit control function.

Location: Dorking (walking distance from the station, excellent transport links, and ample parking available)

About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with a strong, positive culture. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts, chasing overdue debts, and supporting the smooth running of the Credit Control department. Reporting to the EMEA FP&A team, you’ll have the chance to work in a hybrid environment, with three days in the office and two days working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chase overdue retailer debts via phone, email, and letters
  • Flag and resolve any outstanding queries
  • Review aged debt daily and manage DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
  • Build strong relationships with customers and manage your own set of accounts
  • Open new accounts and perform full credit checks
  • Post receipts to ledgers and ensure accurate customer records are maintained
  • Contribute to the efficiency of the Credit Control function

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Credit Control role
  • Proven ability to build relationships and manage outstanding debt
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • A proactive and organized approach to managing your workload
