Maths - Aspiring TeacherAbout the RoleThis role is a perfect stepping stone for recent graduates in mathematics or related fields, or for anyone enthusiastic about inspiring young minds. You'll start as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), Teaching Assistant (TA), or Cover Supervisor, gaining practical classroom experience and building a foundation in education.
Maths - Aspiring TeacherYour Path to Becoming a Qualified TeacherAs an Aspiring Teacher, you'll play a key role in supporting and engaging students in mathematics, all while developing essential teaching and classroom management skills. Once you have gained experience in the LSA/TA or Cover Supervisor role, you could progress onto a SCITT (School-Centered Initial Teacher Training) program, a pathway that allows you to earn Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) while continuing to work in the school.
