Position Details & Benefits:
- This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week (8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with one hour unpaid lunch).
- Salary between £28,000 and £35,000 per annum depending on skills brought to the role (Job Description & Person Specification attached).
- Profit Related Bonus scheme (based on 5% basic salary).

Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in developing control and control panel software using C or Structured Text (IEC 61131), with knowledge of modern software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or V-model.
- A strong foundation in automotive electronics, including CAN-based control systems, sensors, and PWM valve technology.
- Experience with 1-D software tools for control software development.
- Understanding of functional safety standards for machinery, with preference for EN ISO (phone number removed) or ISO 26262.
- Solid background in automotive electrical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with mobile hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Hands-on experience with product lifecycle management tools, preferably SAP, to manage the engineering design process efficiently.
