About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Dorking through our recruitment agency. If you are committed to enhancing the educational experience of students with special educational needs, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons as a SEN Primary Teacher for students with SEN.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the SEN team to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to support student growth.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching primary students, preferably with SEN experience.
- A strong understanding of special educational needs and inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a dedication to student development.
- Relevant qualifications in SEN education (desirable but not essential).
