This opportunity is working for a very respected worldwide tour operator who are based in some incredible offices and have an enviable culture where people thrive. You will be selling holidays to some really special destinations to include The Nordic regions.

Travel Specialist - What will I be doing?

  • As a Travel Specialist your primary responsibility will be to sell tailored and package holiday's specific to your customer's requirements and deliver excellent sales and the highest level of customer service.
  • As well as delivering exceptional customer service, the role of the Travel Specialist will be to manage the customer journey and be their point of contact throughout. This means dealing with the administrative elements on the booking and ensuring the booking is confirmed and all documentation is sent

Travel Specialist - What experience do I need?

  • It is essential that you have experience as a travel consultant and have sold holidays-
  • You will be a consultant who keeps the customer at the heart of everything and your attention to detail is also very important as you will be putting together all documentation too.
  • Ideally you will have great knowledge of selling to the Nordic Region but this is not essential - other destinations will be considered.

Travel Specialist - What else do I need to know?

This is a hybrid role - 2 days in the wonderful office in Dorking and 3 from home. You will be working Monday to Friday shifts 08:00 - 16:00 / 09:00 - 17:00 / 10:00 - 18:00. Saturdays are on a rota basis approx. once a month with a day off in lieu. The basic salary is paying £28k - £30k plus a good commission structure and a great benefits scheme. There is also a requirement to take the emergency phone on a rota basis approx. 2-3 weeks a year.
