Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Liskeard, Cornwall

£37,000 to £42,000 DOE + Overtime Paid at Premium (From £3,500 Per Annum Based on Company Average) + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Company Sick Pay Scheme

Double Days – (37 or 40 Hour Week Contract Available)

Week 1: Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 13:15, Friday 06:00 to 14:00

Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 13:00 to 22:15, Friday OFF

Electrical Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer offering varied role within a stable business. You will be joining a friendly team offering a double day’s shift pattern with every second Friday off.

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will need to hold a Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering (or similar) and will have experience working in an industrial environment but can come from any industry.

You will be responsible for carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance across the industrial production site. This will involve working with machinery controls, motor drive systems and AC and DC up to 390kw.

You will also be involved in supporting the project team in ongoing project work so will also be involved in the installation, testing and calibration of new machinery and services when required.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role:

· Working across various production lines

· Predominately working on heavy machinery.

· 80/20 split between Reactive and PPM maintenance.

· Working on 3 phase electrics, contactors, invertors, Motors, Drives and PLC Fault finding.

· Test & inspection of Machinery and equipment.

· Installation, Project work and Refurbishment.

The Successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer Candidate:

· Experience working in industrial environments in a maintenance role

· Hold a level 3 electrical engineering qualification
