Pay Rate: £11.50 PER HOUR (Starting Wednesday/Thursday this week)

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• Start Times: Between 4:30 AM to 6:00 AM
• Guaranteed 48-Hour Working Week

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Drivers Mate, your role will involve supporting the delivery of kitchens and bathrooms to customers' homes. You’ll work closely with the driver to ensure that all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently. Your duties will include:

• Delivering goods to customers' homes, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in perfect condition.
• Completing an estimated 10 deliveries per day, so you will need to be physically active and able to assist in carrying and unloading goods.
• Working closely with the driver to ensure safe lifting, handling, and unloading procedures are always followed.
• Maintaining communication with customers, providing excellent service and keeping them informed throughout the delivery process.
• Ensuring that all deliveries are documented, and any issues are reported back to the office immediately.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Essential Skills

To succeed as a Drivers Mate, you will need the following:

• Be able to work as part of a team
• Have effective communication skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
• Punctuality and reliability

Desirable Experience:

While not essential, the following experience will give you an advantage:

• Customer service experience
• Previous Drivers Mate experience

Training Provided:

• 2–3-hour assessment
• 1 full week of training (site & classroom-based)
• Manual handling training
• Safe systems of work training
