Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partner, is recruiting for an Accounts Administrator position for our client based in Dover. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and ready to handle responsibilities in a dynamic office environment. The Accounts Administrator will support various accounting functions, including ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Accounts Administrator Day-to-day of the role:
  • Perform daily accounts and record keeping functions.
  • Assist in the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Manage invoice submissions and expense reports.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare reconciliation reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Support the finance department during monthly closings.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team.
Accounts Administrator Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounts and accounting payable/receivable principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate would need to show experience obtained from a similar role, be in commutable distance to our client in Dover, and be available to start work immediately.
