Reed Accountancy & Finance is currently seeking a proficient Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client’s finance team in Dover. Responsibilities:- Efficiently manage and process incoming payments, ensuring accuracy in the accounts receivable ledger.
- Generate and dispatch invoices to clients promptly.
- Actively engage in the resolution of payment issues and conduct follow-ups on overdue accounts.
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding payment details and terms.
- Handle credit memos, adjustments, and other necessary financial transactions.
- Prepare bank deposits and assist in the reconciliation of financial records.
- Keep accurate and comprehensive records and reports pertaining to accounts receivable.
- Demonstrable experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar capacity.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and proficiency in financial reporting.
- Familiarity with accounting software and strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy levels.
