New Permanent Opportunity for HGV1 Drivers
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over short or long distances, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
Shift Pattern
4 on 4 off shift pattern with nights out. You will be allocated a specific truck to share with your opposite on the 4 days off. Overtime -always available however this would be in a different vehicle
Duties
-Operate HGV vehicles whilst adhering to Drivers hours and road laws
- assist in the loading and unloading at certain customer sites
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs and POD's
- Follow traffic laws and regulations
Requirements
- Hold a valid Driving Licence, CPC Card and Digital Tacho card
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
