Business Development Manager - Logistics - hybrid - 3 days office in Kent - Contract 3-6 months - salary up to £50K pro rata

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities
  • Manage key client relationships, driving revenue growth and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Promote the business, attending trade events and networking to expand brand awareness.
  • Lead contract negotiations and oversee implementation to drive long-term partnerships
  • Provide market analysis and insights, supporting senior leadership with data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and technical teams to enhance service offerings.

Proven experience in business development and account management within shipping, port, logistics, or the supply chain industry.Strong industry networkExcellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking.Knowledge of international and European trade, freight, and logistics industries.A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to manage complex projects.
