Job Role: Fenestration / Glazing Project Manager           

Area: Dover                        

Salary: £40k - £50k

My client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team, successfully delivered a wide range of retrofit, refurbishment and new build projects, from window and door replacement projects to full facade refurbishments and associated building works.

This role will be covering London & the South East.

Responsibilities:

  • To liaise with contractors, site managers, contract managers and surveyors to gain a
  • general understanding of projects and works programmes.
  • Organisation and management of labour
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the specified quality.
  • Monitoring site progress & programme
  • Undertake pre-site inspection visits to ensure they are ready for our installation
  • Management of employees, contractors and subcontractors
  • Attend client progress meetings
  • Supervise the delivery, checking and distribution of materials on site
  • Undertake project planning to meet client requirements and construction schedules
  • Order any materials required on site and schedule in deliveries
  • Undertake detailed snagging lists & arrange for these works to be completed
  • Complete all necessary site reports and paperwork
  • Undertake site surveys as required
  • Undertake Quality checks & Tracking project costs
  • Recording delays, variations etc and securing client variation orders

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Have at least 5 years’ experience managing fenestration projects
  • Have a good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
  • Have window and door product and installation knowledge.
  • Be able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Deliver a good quality project on time and within budget
  • Have a personable, methodical and proactive approach with good attention to detail.
  • Be able to organise both direct installers and external sub-contractors
  • Hold a valid CSCS card (SSSTS or SMSTS would be advantageous).
