Description
- Managing debtor accounts and ensuring timely payments
- Chasing payments via phone and email.
- Handling queries related to accounts and payments
- Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports
- Performing credit checks on new customers
- Implementing policies and procedures for credit control
- Working closely with the finance team to achieve financial objectives
- Reconciling complex accounts
- Meeting defined departmental and individual targets
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Experience in a Credit Controller role or similar
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
