A Credit Controller is sought for a temporary role in the Accounting & Finance department of a Leisure, Travel & Tourism company. The individual will be instrumental in maintaining financial stability within the organisation by managing debtor accounts and ensuring timely payments.

Description

  • Managing debtor accounts and ensuring timely payments
  • Chasing payments via phone and email.
  • Handling queries related to accounts and payments
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports
  • Performing credit checks on new customers
  • Implementing policies and procedures for credit control
  • Working closely with the finance team to achieve financial objectives
  • Reconciling complex accounts
  • Meeting defined departmental and individual targets

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Experience in a Credit Controller role or similar
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
