I am really pleased to be exclusively working with my client, who do fundamental work in the not-for-profit sector, in their search for an Interim Finance Manager for a period of 3-6 months. This is a really integral role for the finance department looking after a small finance team.

Description
As Interim Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
- Leading, managing and mentoring the team - ensuring you are there to assist with any issues and rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck into the detail when needed
- Deputising for the Deputy Director of Finance in their absence
- Oversee the production of the monthly management accounts
- Assist in producing profitability analysis, the annual budget and cash flow forecast
- Oversee and review VAT returns
- Preparation of the statutory accounts at year-end
This role will be based 1-2 days per week in the office in East Kent, with 3-4 days from home. Some additional days in the office may be required dependent on team needs.

Profile
- Qualified / Qualified by Experience
- Extensive experience of managing and mentoring small teams
- Experience of producing management and statutory accounts
- Experience of working within a charity / in the not-for-profit sector would be useful but not essential
- Experience of implementing a new system would also be useful but not essential
You should be able to start this role mid-end November at the latest and be able to fully commit for 3-6 months.
Job Offer
Up to £50,000 equivalent on an hourly rate basis
The opportunity to work from home for 3-4 days per week
35 hour working week
