This is a fantastic opportunity to join this small, intimate firm of chartered accountants keen to grow and propel itself to the next level.
Although the firm represents a full spectrum of clients in the East Kent area, including some substantial Ltd companies, it is keen to expand geographically and organically. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of this growth from the outset.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage using IRIS
- Assisting with management accounts production
- Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns
- General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero or Quickbooks
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
- Commutable from most towns in East Kent- Dover, Folkestone, Deal, Canterbury, Thanet, Margate, Sandwich, Ramsgate etc.
Requirements
- You will have 5+ years of experience within an accountancy practice.
- You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- You will have hands-on experience in accounts, tax and VAT preparation.
