About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science technician to support a love for scientific exploration. This role is essential in supporting the delivery of engaging and safe science lessons for students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and maintaining science equipment and resources for lessons.
  • Ensuring the laboratory is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Supporting teachers in delivering practical science activities tailored to the needs of SEN students.
  • Assisting in the management and storage of chemicals and equipment.
  • Providing technical support during lessons when required.

Qualifications:

Experience as a Science Technician in a school environment or industry.

A passion for education and working with children.

Knowledge of health and safety in a laboratory setting.

Patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting SEN students
