About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher (Primary), you will deliver pre-planned lessons to primary-aged students in the absence of their usual teacher. Your role is to ensure continuity in learning and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Whether you prefer short-term assignments or regular bookings, this role offers opportunities that fit your schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across primary year groups, adhering to the curriculum.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Follow the school's policies and ensure a safe and inclusive setting for students.
- Provide feedback on students' progress and participation to the regular teacher.
- Adapt to different school environments and classroom needs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching primary-aged children.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to new settings.
- A passion for education and the ability to inspire young learners.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
