Our school is a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role is integral in delivering nutritious and delicious meals to our students, ensuring they have the best possible environment to thrive in.

Day to day of the role:
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Support the Head Cook with menu planning and food ordering.
  • Help with the setup and clearing of the dining area.
  • Engage with students positively, catering to their unique needs and dietary requirements.
  • Collaborate with school staff to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a kitchen or catering environment is desirable but not essential.
