We are delighted to be supporting an expanding company based in Dover, they are looking for a Transport Manager to join their well established team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage and coordinate vehicles and a team of drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Oversee logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of transportation processes.
  • Develop strategic plans to optimise route planning and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless integration of operations.
  • Analyse and report on transport performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Address any driver-related issues, providing support and guidance to ensure high morale and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of transportation management systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in the transport industry.
  • CPC card and a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role is essential
