Migrant Help are currently looking for a Business Support Team Administrator to join our dedicated and innovative Business support team on a 12 month fixed term contract. There will be a potential for the role to be made permanent or extended. This role is home based. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,603 per annum.

The Business Support Team Administrator role:

The successful candidate will be organised and adaptable with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.As the business support Administrator you will work as part of the AIRE (Advice, Issue Reporting and Eligibility) Business Support Centre, which includes the Submissions Team, Complaints Team, Escalation Advisors and a team of Administrators. You will provide professional administration support on a day-to-day basis to various departments within the AIRE service such as record keeping, data entry, and inbox management.If you have demonstrable administrative experience with a keen eye for detail, and are looking for an exciting role within a charity that is making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

Key responsibilities of our Business Support Team Administrator:

  • Processing and maintaining an efficient up to date recording and monitoring system and assist with data entry
  • Keep full accurate and up-to-date records and complete case follow-ups within the requisite time scales and undertake any necessary administrative tasks in relation to the work.
  • Liaise with the other AIRE departments and teams regarding completed and returned documentation
  • Handle inbound emails from strategic partners and third parties, effectively, addressing and processing the query i.e. submitting a Change of Circumstance application, uploading supporting documents etc. and responding setting out the action taken.
  • Quality assure and submit applications / correspondence through our customer relationship management (CRM) system, ELLIS.
  • Adhere to GDPR and Safeguarding Policy, handling safeguarding cases notified via inboxes in accordance with agreed process.
  • Ensure that data & documents that do not meet the required standards are identified and processed in accordance with policy.
  • Support with the management, monitoring and allocation of complaints in a timely manner.
  • Circulate, update and file information received via email inboxes as appropriate.

Skills and experience we are looking for in our Business Support Team Administrator:

  • Demonstrable experience of effectively completing general office and administrative duties
  • Experienced in maintaining filing systems and databases
  • Understanding of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Working in the voluntary sector
  • Previous experience working in a multicultural environment
