About the Role:

Our client, a leader in quality management, is searching for an experienced Quality Systems Technician to temporarily join their team to cover a leave of absence. This hybrid role requires onsite work at least three days per week, bringing hands-on support to a committed team focused on maintaining and improving Quality Management Systems (QMS)

As a Quality Systems Technician, you will support the UKLC Quality team by overseeing and maintaining the QMS, with a strong emphasis on ISO 9001. This role will involve scheduling and leading internal audits, writing essential quality documentation, and ensuring quality standards are adhered to across departments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it meets ISO 9001 requirements
  • Plan, schedule, and lead internal audits to maintain compliance with internal and external standards
  • Draft and update work instructions, policies, and procedures to support quality processes
  • Generate quality reports, raise corrective actions, and follow up with relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with teams to execute root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address non-conformances

Who We're Looking For:

Our ideal candidate brings a solid background in QMS management within a manufacturing, operations, or logistics environment. Previous experience conducting audits and familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is essential. Knowledge of ISO 451001 will be beneficial if ISO 9001 experience is limited

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent in Quality Management or related field
  • Training in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Internal Audits is highly desirable
  • Experience with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA)
  • Demonstrated ability in performing process-based and risk-based audits
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or willingness to achieve this
