Transport Planner

£28k - £34k DOE

Our well-established client working within the haulage industry are looking to onboard a Transport Planner to join their already flourishing team!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and well renowned organisation and be part of a rapidly growing business where hard work and dedication is rewarded. Previous experience within a transport based role or company is a necessity. If you are looking to further your career in the transport industry then look no further! 

Responsibilities:

  • UK and European planning for a fleet of HGV vehicles in the quickest and most cost effective manner
  • Liaising with drivers daily regarding delivery updates
  • Day to day communication with customers 
  • Liaising with other departments where necessary

Requirements:

  • Recent experience working within a similar role or company
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work well alone as well as within a team
  • Flexible working hours
  • A proactive approach to work and have the ability to think on their feet
